Angie is a designer, crafter, and artist. She creates jewelry slowly and intentionally, working by hand and letting each piece take shape in its own time. What began as a hobby in her spare time 8 years ago, has grown into her business – Angie’s Jewels. A collection of handcrafted designs inspired by everyday beauty, nature, and forgotten details.
Each piece is made by Angie from start to finish. No two are ever exactly the same, and that individuality is the essence of her store.
Sustainability is an important part of how Angie works. Many pieces are created using recycled gems, beads, jewels, and recycled material. This gives these elements a new life, while reducing the need for newly sourced gems and jewels.
Choosing recycled elements means you are choosing designs with history, character, and purpose.
Angie is based in the heart of Ireland in the midlands. Working from Portlaoise, and being rooted in this part of Ireland lets the work and creations develop slowly and naturally.
Her work is proudly part of the local arts community and has been featured at the Dunamaise Arts Centre, alongside other independent Irish designers. Angie regularly attends local craft and design markets. “I love meeting customers in person and sharing the stories behind my work”. The connection with community is a necessary part of her work. Every piece is made locally, thoughtfully, and with care.
